Last August 22-24, 2025, Unified Global gathered its leaders for a different kind of strategic planning at The Mansion in Clark, Pampanga. Gone were the static SWOT charts and paper frameworks. In their place: immersive exercises that mirrored the real-world challenges our clients face every day.
For three days, consultants engaged in case studies, signal-spotting, and role-playing scenarios designed to sharpen not just strategy, but client partnership. The focus was clear: to become more than consultants but to be proactive partners who anticipate needs, recommend solutions, and make clients' lives easier.

Making the experience even richer, Harold and TJ joined as judges, offering commentary from a client's point of view. Their feedback revealed how different approaches might land, what conversations would resonate, and where consultants could refine their delivery. By speaking from the client's perspective, they provided leaders with practical insights on how to step up, recommend workflow improvements, and build stronger partnerships.

Over the course of the sessions, leaders co-created a shared playbook for delivering more value and strengthened their confidence in high-stakes conversations. Activities reinforced not only skills, but also the shared vision of stepping up together.
Highlights included James Nolasco's keynote, which laid out opportunities across industries and regions. He emphasized that

Workshops also explored cross-selling strategies, accountability in client handling, and how every line of business can move faster when collaboration is seamless.

Leaders described the event as “collaborative” and “eye-opening.” One consultant reflected, “It reminded me that teamwork doesn't always have to be serious. Even in games, you could see everyone's strategic approach come out, and it showed how much stronger we are when we work as one.” Another noted a mindset shift:

Data from the planning sessions showed that for tax clients, delays often stem from missing supporting documents — a pain point that opens the door for consultants to cross-sell bookkeeping and accounting support. Leaders also noted that anticipating compliance issues across multiple states or during company wind-downs can unlock new avenues for value. These insights are feeding directly into the 2026 playbook.

Unified Global's 2026 plan is a shift in mindset! By anchoring planning in client realities, we are positioning ourselves to deliver stronger partnerships and lasting value in the decade to come.
Here's to a limitless 2026 with Unified Global!
