Senior Accountant (with AP and Coupa experience)

We're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant with a strong background in Accounts Payable to join our team as a Maternity Leave Reliever. This is a temporary contract role with a duration of 2-3 months, with the possibility of extension or a permanent role based on business needs and performance.

Expected start date: September 2026
Schedule: 11:00 AM - 8:00 PM PST (graveyard shift, 2:00 AM - 11:00 AM PHT)

Duties include but not limited to:

• Manage end-to-end Accounts Payable processes.
• Process employee expense reimbursements and corporate card transactions.
• Review, reconcile, and process vendor invoices and payments.
• Support month-end closing activities related to AP and expenses.
• Maintain accurate financial records in NetSuite.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely and accurate financial transactions.
• Ensure the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating, and entering transactions.
• Prepare and record asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information.
• Maintain the general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trial balance, and reconciling entries.
• Summarize financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience in finance, accounting, or a related area.
• Certified Public Accountant preferred.
• Experience with Coupa is required.
• Extensive knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including complex formulas and process automation.
• Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to plan, schedule, and organize work independently with minimal supervision and complete tasks within designated timelines.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with various management levels.
• Superior attention to detail and ability to manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
• Demonstrated ability to drive projects across an organization.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

System requirements:

• Computer Processor: Intel 8th generation or newer / AMD Ryzen 2000 series or newer.
• Computer Memory/RAM: At least 16 GB for both primary and backup computers.
• Computer OS: Windows 11 and future enterprise operating systems.
• Storage: 500 GB SSD.
• Licensed MS Office and an extra monitor.
• Internet speed must be running on a 20+ Mbps wired plan, with at least 10 Mbps for the backup connection.
